This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Site Superintendent located around the Stamford, CT area but must be willing to travel the state as needed. The Site Superintendent will oversee and manage daily construction site operations, maintain project schedules, ensure adherence to safety guidelines, and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams. Key responsibilities include supervising construction activities, managing quality control, resolving on‑site challenges, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Qualifications- Experience in construction project management, site supervision, and managing subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, scheduling, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and problem‑solving within large‑scale construction settings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and client interactions.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Ability to manage resources efficiently and effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Connecticut is a plus.
- OSHA certification and understanding of safety standards are highly desirable.
