About the Role:

As the Sr. Manager of Business Integration, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements in business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall organizational performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven track record of driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, process mapping, and change management, along with excellent communication and leadership abilities.

What You’ll Do:
  • Operational Insight:
    Observe and understand the operational challenges faced in retail operations on a day-to-day basis.
  • Data and Process Interdependencies:
    Identify the data and process interdependencies across the organization, particularly within retail operations.
  • Business Requirements:
    Articulate operational needs and turn them into clear business requirements.
  • Technical

    Collaboration:

    Work with IT to help define the technical requirements necessary to address business needs.
  • Project Coordination:
    Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure clear visibility into core IT projects.
  • Primary Point of Contact:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the retail operations. Build and maintain strong relationships with SME leaders.
  • Requirements Gathering:
    Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions with SMEs. Document their process needs and translate them into clear business requirements.
  • SME Understanding:
    Develop a deep understanding of the SMEs' business processes, challenges, and goals.
  • Facilitation:
    Facilitate communication and collaboration between retail operations leadership, SMEs and IT.
  • Intake Process Gatekeeping:
    Act as a gatekeeper for the intake process, working with SMEs and leadership to validate, prioritize, and define all requests before escalation for review.
  • Feedback Gathering:
    Gather feedback from SMEs on system performance and process effectiveness and relay that information to the appropriate teams.
  • Technical Translation:
    Work closely with product leaders in IT to help translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT teams.
  • System Design

    Collaboration:

    Work with product owners to ensure system designs meet the requirements of the SMEs.
  • Project Coordination:
    Assist in the coordination of system development and implementation projects, tracking progress and managing timelines. Communicate project plans, goals, and timelines to relevant stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance Support:
    Support testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure systems meet business requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Foster cross-functional collaboration to address challenges arising from upstream and downstream processes. Ensure close coordination with Cultivation and Manufacturing Operations, Brand Operations, Auxiliary Operational Components such as Financial Systems, Cost Accounting, Procurement, Merchandising, Compliance, and the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Rules of Engagement:
    Establish and maintain clear rules of engagement with auxiliary systems and other core business processes, including Cultivation and Manufacturing, Brand, and Auxiliary Operations.
  • Travel Requirements:
    Up to 30%
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
