State & Local Senior Tax Analyst

This role will be based in our Stamford, Connecticut office and requires regular in-office presence five days per week.

• Assist in State & local tax audits.
• Respond to State & local Tax Notices
• Review State & local Tax returns prepared by outside CPA firms.
• Work with outside CPA firms and interface with their compliance team.
• Prepare internal tax reports & gather data from the operating units.
• Analyze state & local tax data and prepare work papers and spreadsheets to assist in analyzing alternative tax structures.
• Prepare year-end tax schedules.
• Prepare state apportionment work papers.
• Assist with EFT payments and tax credit certificates

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting
• 3-5 years State & Local Tax experience
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
• Experience with Tax Software systems preferred.
