Senior Accountant

Overview:
Our manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role will work closely with finance, operations, and production teams to ensure a successful ERP rollout, with a focus on accurate financial data, inventory, and cost accounting processes. This is an ideal opportunity for an accountant who enjoys implementing systems and improving processes within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across the manufacturing finance function

• Assist with data migration and validation, including GL, inventory, WIP, BOMs, and cost data

• Participate in UAT testing, issue tracking, and resolution in partnership with internal teams and external consultants

• Support configuration and validation of accounting and manufacturing modules (GL, AP, AR, Inventory, Cost Accounting)

• Ensure accurate inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis post-implementation

• Assist with documenting manufacturing and accounting workflows and internal controls

• Provide support during go-live and post-go-live stabilization

• Help train end users and support continuous process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment

• Experience supporting or participating in an ERP implementation or system conversion

• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred

• Working knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing processes

• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
