Location: Stamford, Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

They are seeking a detail‑oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join a small, collaborative accounting team (10‑person office). This hands‑on role requires versatility and the ability to manage multiple priorities across various accounting functions. You’ll work in an intimate office setting with direct access to a supportive and friendly leadership team.

• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities (October 31st fiscal year‑end)
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain Fixed Assets and depreciation schedules
• Execute complex bank reconciliations across multiple banking relationships
• Manage accounts receivable and collections processes
• Handle invoicing and billing operations
• Oversee tax compliance including sales tax and property tax returns
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Support preparation of financial statements and comprehensive financial reports
• Perform ad‑hoc analysis and projects as assigned
• Adapt to changing priorities and wear multiple hats as business needs require

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience (public or corporate accounting background preferred)
• Essential: Experience with Acumatica or comparable large‑scale ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
