Overview

The Bluecoat School is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and forward-thinking Key Stage One Teacher with phonics experience to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to children's learning and development by delivering creative and engaging lessons. We are looking for a phonics leader to continue to drive our improving standards forward. You will be child focused and resilient, interested in being part of and committing to the Bluecoat community.

You will provide a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment for all Key Stage One children to help them achieve their full potential and a love for learning.

• Deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage One and contribute to improving standards in phonics
• Collaborate with year groups to plan and share best practices
• Support the school’s safeguarding and child protection duties
• Work as part of a team to promote inclusion and high expectations for all students

• Phonics experience
• QTS teaching qualification
• Experience of teaching Key Stage One/Two
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
