Finance Manager

Location: Staines

This is a Finance Manager job for a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) for a stable, cash generative and profitable SME Manufacturing business in Rochdale. You will be a qualified accountant, ideally an all round Management Accountant / Finance Manager who has experience managing transactional staff. You will therefore be a senior person, and able to deal with monthly Management Accounts, journals, analysis and more.

You will also be happy to roll your sleeves up and help process invoices or do credit control if needed. This is a small, but friendly team and there shouldn't be anything you'd expect your team to do that you wouldn't yourself help out with. The business has more than 30 years of trading history and is profitable and cash generative with excellent margins and a fantastic reputation among clients and customers.

This is a successful and humble business with a huge amount of pride in the work they do as a manufacturer and their place as a local business, making products and selling them worldwide. This is a manufacturing site, so you will hopefully be comfortable working in a busy and noisy environment: though you will be in attached offices ultimately this is a place where things get made.

Hopefully working for a business local to Rochdale that is stable and offers steady growth but solid work suits you. There is, however, a requirement to work hands on in the business 5 days a week on site, with a degree of flexibility on working hours.
