All About On Demand
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via the myTime mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule. When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary.

Active engagement by picking up and working shifts once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours) is required. Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you need to respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm your interest in working shifts  you do not respond to our attempts at contact, your employment may be terminated. If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment with Target will be administratively terminated.

Your communication and ability to work when our business demands it most are critical to your success in this role. After a position offer, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are properly prepared for your new role. After that, the myTime mobile scheduling app is where you can pick up the shifts you desire to work.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

Role Skills and Example Day
A Guest Advocate builds an inclusive guest experience through communication, problem solving, and adapting to guest needs. A typical day includes responsibilities below.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and advise on tools, products, and services available in the total store.
• Help guests enroll in or activate Target Loyalty programs and explain fulfillment services (OPU, Drive Up, Registry, etc.).
• Assist guests with using Wallet and other Target App features.
• Handle returns following Target policies and assist with order pickup, drive-up, and registry needs.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience per policies.
• Deliver accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards; support cash office processes as needed.

Basics We Expect
Accurate cash handling and support for cash office operations as needed. Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely (lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally). Flexibility to pick up shifts to meet store needs. Maintain mobility and work in varying temperatures as required by duties. You may be required to be available for shifts during peak times.
