Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

JOB AD:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) opportunities with Aspen Medical to partner in providing quality medical care to patients within a transitional setting. LPNs/LVNs, alongside fellow team members, will be entrusted to ensure competent care and safety with compassion to the patient population.

The medical teams will be located within a secure medical facility. Services include, but are not limited to, medical screening, comprehensive screening, sick call, 24-hour emergency medical and mental health treatment, and women’s medical care.

• Provide medical screening and triage for new arrivals and ongoing patient care
• Conduct comprehensive screening and sick calls as part of the care team
• Deliver 24-hour emergency medical and mental health treatment within scope of practice
• Support women’s medical care needs and coordinate with other team members and services

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (LPN/LVN) and current, full, active and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse
• Med Surg/Long Term Care/Psychiatric Mental Health/Primary Care – minimum one-year current experience (must have worked within the last six months)
• Current, valid American Heart Association BLS certification
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired
• Education and Certification:
  Completion of a State Board of Nursing approved LPN/LVN training program
• Ability to work in a secure medical facility and adhere to US clinical standards and compliance measures

• All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available.
