- You will lead a team, ensuring effective communication of project goals, deadlines, and responsibilities.
- You will develop, present, and defend procurement policies and contract actions to senior officials.
- You will plan, direct, and coordinate contractual and procurement policy actions involved in supporting sophisticated and technologically advanced systems acquisition programs.
- You will coach and mentor team members, fostering problem-solving techniques and improving team dynamics.
- You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work, ensuring your team meets project milestones and quality standards, adjusting priorities as needed.
- You will analyze, evaluate, and review proposed and on-going procurements and cost pricing data.
- You will assess your team's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition
Functional Area
and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames. - This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- Must be able to hold and maintain an Unlimited Contracting Officer's Warrant 1n
