Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off

The Sales Engineer will work directly with Navy, Marine Corps, & Coast Guard Sales Team, providing equipment demonstrations, technical support, and pre/post-sales support for customers. This role will be responsible for determining customer communications equipment requirements, recommending solutions, and providing complete accurate bill of material to meet those solutions. This position will be on‑site in Stafford, VA and will support 50% CONUS and/or OCONUS travel.

• Work with team members to support successful technical demonstrations, trials, and exercises.
• Provide input during the evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the account managers as an equipment technical advisor.
• Understand customer requirements and use‑cases for product applications and recommending equipment solutions that will meet those requirements.
• Understand the features of L3
  
  Harris products and conveying how those features benefit individual and unique customers.
• Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to support customer requirements and support efforts.
• Provide pre‑sales and/or post‑sales technical support for L3
  
  Harris products to customers, to include operation, limited maintenance, and technical support.
• Provide training to customers on L3
  
  Harris products.

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 4 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Active US Secret Security Clearance

• L3
  
  Harris tactical radio experience using HF, VHF, UHF, MANET, & SATCOM waveforms.
• Internet Protocol (IP) networking experience.
• Systems engineering/integration experience.
