MANTECH is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to join our team in Stafford, VA
.
The successful candidate will support a wide range of financial and business management activities on behalf of our government customer and will play an integral role in all areas of the financial management of the program. This position requires an ACTIVE DoD TS/ SCI Security Clearance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare government funding documents that convey all categories of Department of Defense appropriations (e.g., MIPR, NIPR, ITPRAS, etc.).
Maintain project and program baseline budget information, update spend and phasing plans, track the changes, and assist in identifying and mitigating financial risk.
Monitor project funding execution against phasing plans to identify variances for the Program Management Office, prepare necessary justifications, and resolve government compliance issues to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and coordinate inputs for regular execution reviews required by the Marine Corps, higher headquarters, and partner organizations to include any related status reports, documents, briefings, and information inquiries related to annual budgeting tasks.
Interface with the program management team in preparation of financial documentation, status reports, and briefs in response to internal and external requests for project financial data.
Provide financial support and input to various integrated product reviews, integrated product teams, and technical working groups, as delineated by program priorities.
Serve as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (finance/accounting/business management/economics) and at least five (5) years of experience in this finance field
Familiarity with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and the corresponding inputs for associated financial systems.
Possess in-depth analytical skills.
Proficient with Microsoft applications including Office and SharePoint.
Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
DAU Level I certification in one of the following areas: business, cost estimating and financial management, contracting, or acquisitions.
Familiarity with associated inputs, workflows, and outputs for Naval Headquarters System (NHS) Cerberus, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), SABRS Management Analysis Retrieval System (SMARTS), and other related financial platforms.
Clearance Requirements:
Candidate must have an active TS/SCI and eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary/ desk position 50% of the time and communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/ or virtual communication, which may involve clearly delivering briefings/ presentations.
