Ideal Candidate:
- Have a passion for early childhood education
- Are reliable and dependable to a fault – our children depend on you!
- Are fun, engaging, patient and flexible
What you will do:
- Support the Lead Teacher in the care and education of a group of children
- Assist in managing your students as they learn, play, eat and sleep
- Keep your classroom organized and clean
- Observe your children's interests; work with other team members to develop creative ideas for engaging activities
- Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal conversations
What you have:
- Must be 16 years of age (18+ with HS diploma or equivalent preferred)
- Minimum of 1-year field-related experience
- Flexibility to work hours based on the needs of the school and program
- Successful background check and VA licensing standards required
