HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER - NIGHTS People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Stafford, Staffordshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Shifts:

working 5 nights between Monday and Sunday - start times 18:00 - 21:00 Pay rate £18.00 per hour What are the benefits:

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
Between 1 – 3 drops using pump trucks Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills :
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience with multi drop deliveries Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Apply Today – Do Not Miss Out!
