HGV Tanker Driver

Salary £32,000 - £36,000, plus overtime, benefits and ongoing training.

We are looking for a competent and professional HGV Driver who has drainage experience or is looking to gain drainage experience. The role will suit someone who takes pride in their vehicle and will provide a first‑class service for our business.

• Carry out a range of services associated with the tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customer drains
• Deliver an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Ensure work in accordance with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures
• Maintain the branded company service vehicle and equipment to the highest standards
• Accurately record work/job details via internal/client systems
• Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
• Commitment to working for a 24/7 and 365 service provider; may involve on‑call rosters or occasional unsociable hours

• Experienced HGV Driver Class 2 (drainage experience preferred) – 2+ years post license.
• Experience driving a tanker.
• Experience with CCTV Surveys and Lining an advantage.
• Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude.

• Willing to work occasional unsociable hours.
• Full UK driving licence.
