Role: Pricing Specialist

Location: Lichfield, West Midlands

Salary: From £32k + bonuses

Work Pattern: Office Based, Mon - Fri 08:00am - 16:00pm / 09:00am - 17:00pm

We are working with one of the largest privately owned international freight forwarding companies with multiple office across the country, who are actively on the lookout out for a Pricing Specialis.

This company has been established for over 35+ years and are continuing to grow in the industry.

• Negotiate rates with carriers / hauliers / suppliers
• Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within agreed timeframe
• Work within our in-house system to create and issue quotations
• Communicate with customers to manage and follow up all quotes
• Adjusting pricing where possible to ensure we secure opportunities.
• Develop and build relationships and provide the highest level of customer service to all customers

• Strong analytical thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proactive, team worker with excellent time management and organisation skills
• Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines
• Strong numerical and commercial skills
• Industry and operational knowledge of Ocean freight - inbound, outbound, and cross trade
