Veterinary Surgeon – Shires Vets, Stoke-on-Trent
Location:
Shires Vets, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Job type:
Permanent.
Hours:
Part-time, 20 hours per week over 2 days, plus 1:6 Saturdays with time off in lieu. No OOH.
Salary:
Up to £50,000 (full‑time equivalent, based on a 40‑hour week) dependent on experience. Welcome bonus of up to £2,000 (direct applicants).
We’re really excited to be offering a wonderful opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, supportive, and long‑established team at Shires Vets.
This role will be primarily based at our Eaton Park and Stone sites, with some flexibility required to support shifts across our other branches, offering a chance to build relationships with different teams and enjoy a varied working week.
What We’re Looking For- Ideally a Veterinary Surgeon with a few years’ experience in general practice
- Someone flexible and happy to support shifts across our branches when needed
- A kind, enthusiastic team player who enjoys learning and contributing to a positive workplace culture
- Ideally available to work Thursdays and Fridays, although we’re very happy to discuss alternative options to suit your needs
- 5-weeks holiday plus bank holidays and birthday leave (pro rata)
