About Us

We are representing a growing fabrication company specialising in the manufacture of fire sprinkler systems and related metal components. We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level General Metal Worker to join our workshop team. This role is ideal for someone wanting to start or build a career in metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

* Assisting with fabrication and assembly of metal components for sprinkler systems

* Cutting, drilling, deburring, and preparing metal parts

* Assisting with basic welding and fabrication tasks (training provided)

* Powder coating preparation, including cleaning, masking, and hanging parts

* Operating powder coating equipment and ovens under supervision

* Inspecting finished products for quality and finish

* General workshop duties and housekeeping

* Following workplace health, safety, and quality procedures

Requirements

* Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic

* Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on skills

* Ability to use hand and power tools (training provided)

* Good attention to detail, especially for finishing and coating work

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

* Commitment to workplace health and safety

Desirable (Not Essential)

* Any previous workshop, manufacturing, or powder coating experience

* Interest in metal fabrication or engineering
