About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in a fast‑paced, industrial manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of machinery, electrical systems, and chemical processes. You’ll manage both preventive and corrective maintenance programs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing maintenance team
- Manage task allocation, scheduling, and performance tracking
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, training, and reporting
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime
- Respond swiftly to equipment failures and coordinate repairs
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruption
- Ensure all equipment meets operational and safety standards
- Monitor KPIs for performance, downtime, and cost
- Optimise use of CMMS for data tracking and reporting
- Enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance
- Conduct audits and risk assessments
- Maintain documentation of inspections and corrective actions
- Manage maintenance budgets and procurement
- Monitor inventory and coordinate timely replenishment
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and cost savings
- Lead initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Plan and execute minor projects and CAPEX initiatives
- Oversee contractor activities and ensure compliance
Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 3–5 years in a supervisory maintenance role within manufacturing
- Experience in adhesives or chemical manufacturing is a plus
- Proven ability to develop maintenance strategies and manage timelines
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and process equipment maintenance
- Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office
- In‑depth knowledge of HSE regulations
- Effective communication across all levels
- Mid‑Senior level
