Key Responsibilities

As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you'll play an important role in keeping vital plant and HGV equipment maintained and operational.

Service, maintain and repair a range of plant and HGV machinery

Diagnose mechanical faults and complete effective repairs

Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance

Ensure work complies with LOLER / PUWER regulations and safety standards

Complete service documentation and maintenance records accurately

What we're looking for

We're looking for a practical and experienced engineer who is confident working on plant or HGV equipment.

Experience working as a Plant Fitter or similar mechanical role

Experience working on plant, construction equipment or HGV vehicles

Strong understanding of LOLER / PUWER regulations

NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent mechanical qualification

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Full UK driving licence
