Department: Service, Repair & Fulfilment
We are looking for a Repair Centre Technician to join our fast‑paced Operations team at our Stafford HQ. You will play a key role in diagnosing and repairing IT equipment, ensuring devices are returned to customers quickly, safely, and to a high standard.
This is a hands‑on technical role ideal for someone with repair centre experience who enjoys problem‑solving, working to KPIs, and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair hardware faults on PCs, laptops, mobile devices, all‑in‑one equipment, and some servers
- Carry out limited software fixes where required
- Record all diagnostics and repairs accurately on company systems
- Complete quality assurance checks on repaired devices
- Pack and dispatch repaired equipment in line with company standards
- Follow anti‑static, Health & Safety, and data protection procedures at all times
- Work to agreed KPIs and Service Level Agreements
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement
- Complete required training and customer‑specific accreditations (including CompTIA A+ where applicable)
- Repair centre or technical repair experience
- Hardware break/fix experience on desktops and laptops
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and customer focus
- CompTIA A+ certification
- NVQ or qualification in IT
- Experience with brands such as Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Samsung, Asus, Toshiba
- Knowledge of 5S or Lean working practices
