Job Description & How to Apply Below

Competitive package | Permanent | Remote-first The Challenge

DigX is delivering a multi-system transformation programme and we need an Integration Architect to define and execute the integration layer that makes it work — across multiple enterprise platforms, not just D365.

You will own end-to-end integration architecture across Azure Integration Services and the wider system landscape: data movement, message contracts, resilience, monitoring, and security. Your designs will become the build blueprint for Integration Engineers — and you’ll stay close enough to delivery to ensure what’s designed is buildable, supportable, and operated cleanly.

This is a role for someone who can think like an architect and execute like an engineer — shaping the patterns, producing the artefacts, and making the calls when real-world constraints collide with theory.

What You'll Own

As our Integration Architect, you will:

  • Own end-to-end integration architecture across Azure Integration Services and the full enterprise estate: data movement, message contracts, resilience, monitoring, and security.
  • Define integration patterns and non-functional requirements (availability, performance, recoverability, observability, security) and make them real in delivery.
  • Produce core architecture outputs teams build from: integration strategy, canonical data model, API standards, and eventing strategy.
  • Design operational reliability by default: error handling and replay, monitoring standards, runbooks, and recovery patterns — ensuring integrations can be supported in production.
  • Own the connectivity and security model for integrations, including private networking approach and alignment to platform governance.
  • Lead discovery and design workshops, translating requirements into technical designs: interface specs, mappings, sequence flows, and cross-system dependency clarity.
  • Maintain the integration catalogue with traceability from requirements → design → build → test.
  • Define the integration test strategy (approach, coverage expectations, and evidence) to validate integrations end-to-end.
You’ll Thrive Here If You Have
  • Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end integrations across multiple systems (ERP + operational platforms + third parties), not just a single product stack.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Functions).
  • Ability to define and enforce message contracts, API standards, eventing patterns
, and integration NFRs across a heterogeneous estate.
  • Track record producing high-quality artefacts engineers can build from:
integration strategy, canonical data model, interface specs, mappings, sequence diagrams, runbooks
    .
  • Confidence leading workshops with architects, SMEs, vendors and engineers — turning ambiguity into decisions, standards, and build‑ready designs.
  • Strong judgement: governance where it protects quality and security, speed where delivery needs it — without compromising operability.
  • Experience integrating with EDI, MES, WMS, manufacturing/operational systems, or complex B2B integration landscapes.
  • Background in large‑scale or regulated enterprise environments with formal SDLC and audit expectations.
Why This Role Matters

As an Integration Architect at DigX, you'll experience:

  • Architectural ownership:
You define the integration backbone — patterns, contracts, eventing, connectivity, and operational standards the programme will live with.
  • Real impact:
Your decisions shape build, cutover readiness, and day‑2 supportability — not just diagrams.
  • Remote‑first, collaboration‑ready:
Work remotely by default, with on‑site time (Stafford or client locations) only when face‑to‑face collaboration genuinely adds value.
  • Meaningful scale:
Multi‑system scope, complex integration surfaces, and the chance to set standards that scale across an enterprise estate.
  • Engineering‑led culture:
Clear standards, direct communication, zero theatre — design it properly, build it properly, operate it properly.
About DigX

DigX builds secure, scalable Microsoft estates for complex enterprises. We sit at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and delivery—where technical decisions create lasting business value. We don't just design systems; we ensure they work in the real world.
