Days & Hours- Deputy Team Leader: Up to 128 hours per 4‑week cycle (average 36 hours per week including Deputy Team Leader hours). Flexibility may be required on the start and finish times to meet Tristan's individual needs. Part‑time applications accepted.
- Support Worker: Various shifts available to include days and nights. Flexibility may be required on the start and finish times to meet Tristan's individual needs on different days due to activities.
- Bank Support Worker: Bank hours also available to cover absences of the current team.
- Deputy Team Leader: £16.50 per hour Monday‑Friday days, £18.50 per hour weekend days, £12.21 per hour (age 21+) weekday sleeping nights, £13.21 per hour (age 21+) weekend sleeping nights. Standby shift paid at £31.20 per shift.
- Support Worker: £13.23 per hour Monday‑Friday days, £15.44 per hour weekend days, £17.64 per hour bank holidays, £12.21 per hour (age 21+) weekday sleeping nights, £13.21 per hour (age 21+) weekend sleeping nights. Standby shift paid at £31.20 per shift.

Driver required: Essential – must have own car as the client lives in a rural setting with no public transport.
Driving Client's Car: Yes – client's adapted automatic vehicle.
Using Own Vehicle for work purposes: Essential to get to and from work and attend training.

Experience:
Previous experience working with children/young adults with neuro‑disability.
Desirable: Experience and qualifications in caring for children/young people with severe disabilities, PEG experience.
Pets: One family dog, very friendly but does bark.
Accommodation (while on duty): Fully adapted family home, separate Carer's entrance, Carer's room and kitchen facilities.
Interviews Week Commencing: As and when applications are received. Interviews may be completed via Microsoft Teams.
Start Date: ASAP (subject to satisfactory employment checks).
Tristan is a young man born in 2000, who due to an injury at birth has complex physical, psychological and communication needs. He thoroughly enjoys being outdoors and requires help to plan his weekly outdoor activities such as theatre trips, shopping and day services. Driving the adapted vehicle is vital, as getting out and about is very important to him.
He is gastrostomy‑fed and dependent on his wheelchair for mobility. He requires assistance with personal care tasks, activities of daily living and leisure pursuits to maintain and increase his independence, and the team works 2:1 care due to moving and handling requirements.
Responsibilities- The Deputy Team Leader will assist the Team Leader in running the care team, cover when the Team Leader is unavailable, support rota management, find cover for absences, and be on call for staff shortages – alongside the role of Support Worker.
- The Support Workers will support Tristan with all aspects of daily living, in the community and for social outings. They must be able to drive the wheelchair‑adapted vehicle.
