• Advising on County Planning matters, including applications and planning enforcement.
• Negotiating complex planning obligations on behalf of highway and education clients.
• Providing advice on a full range of Local Authority statutory Planning functions.
• Managing client files in accordance with Lexcel requirements and supervising other team members.

We are looking for you to be a qualified Chartered Legal Executive (with practice/advocacy rights), Solicitor or Barrister with the following:

• A comprehensive understanding of Planning law.
• An in‑depth understanding of public‑sector work; prior local government experience is not essential.
• Clear, confident and effective communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective time‑management, prioritisation skills and the ability to work under competing pressures.
• The ability to delegate work to generate capacity.
