Sellick Partnership are working with a leading Staffordshire-based education organisation to recruit a driven and detail‑focused Financial Accountant. This is a key role within the finance team, with a varied remit covering financial reporting, treasury oversight, and compliance.

• Lead on financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management
• Manage relationships with key external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Support audit processes and year‑end requirements
• Provide insight and analysis to support strategic decision‑making

• CCAB‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
• Statutory reporting and external audit processes
• Treasury or cash flow management
• Balance sheet reconciliations and control
• Compliance with accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
• Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
• Communicating effectively with finance and non‑finance stakeholders
