We’re looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member.
In this role, you’d be making a real difference to the work of the National Trust, as well as helping to give people a memorable day out.

Contract details- Contract type:
This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. - Contract duration:
Fixed term contract until 05/09/2026 - Operating
Hours:
The operation is open 7 days a week, from 09:30 to 17:30 (latest closing time). - Weekend Coverage:
Weekends are included, staff work on a rotational basis to ensure fair time off. - Flexibility:
The number of working days per week is flexible, based on availability and operational requirements. - Salary: £12.25 per hour
- Assessment:
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form.

What you'll be doingAs a Team Member, your main focus will be front اتفاقof house, dealing directly with people.
You’ll welcome and look after everyone who comes to the café.
With your love of working with people, your ‘can‑do’ attitude, and your desire to provide an outstanding service, you’ll be making sure everyone has an enjoyable time.
This is a lively business thatássalatically on the go, so teamwork and adaptability are crucial.
You’ll be keen to understand what people want, to help them and to make recommendations.
You’ll always keep the standards of food and drink preparation and presentation high.
Using your excellent eye for detail, you’ll make sure all displays and signs are accurate and looking good.
At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food.
We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role.
