Mechanical Design Engineer (Sheet Metal / Solid Works)

Location: Stafford (On-Site)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Annual Bonus + Training + Progression + 25 Days Holiday + Life Insurance + Sick Pay + Enhanced Pension

Are you an experienced electromechanical engineer, looking to join a company that will provide long‑term progression and exciting opportunities to work on bespoke machinery and equipment? In this role, you will take ownership of bespoke engineering projects, designing customised mechanical solutions based on customer requirements. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and project managers to ensure designs are delivered accurately and efficiently from concept through to manufacture. The role is ideal for a design engineer with experience in Solid Works, looking to join a well‑established business that offers ongoing training and varied projects.

• Design customised mechanical products based on customer requirements
• Produce design, assembly, and manufacturing drawings
• Generate BOMs and obtain costings at the initial design stage
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure project delivery
• Support product performance checks during initial production

• Degree in Engineering or similar
• Experience in Sheet Metal fabrication
• Solid Works experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
