Spinwell is recruiting for a General Engineering Workshop Technician Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

• Perform self-directed Test;
  Diagnostics;
  Repair;
  Maintenance;
  Modification;
  Calibration and Manufacture of Equipment down to module / individual Component level using approved Engineering Documentation and techniques.
• Hold Self-Certification;
  Over-Signing;
  Certifying & Conditioning of Equipment Responsibilities (for example: Serviceable / Unserviceable / Scrap).
• Supervision;
  Training and Over-Signing of Junior / Equivalent grade Staff & Apprentices.
• Carry out Feasibility and Development activity, including the Reverse Engineering and Creation of supporting engineering documentation / Test Procedures.
• Use a combination of different client IT software.
• Provide Specialist Advice as required.
• Work within a scheme of Engineering Governance and comply with all policy and legislation.

• Previous experience in schedule maintenance and repair.
• Holds eligibility to meet the criteria of professional Registration of Eng Tech, in accordance with the UK-SPEC.
• Level 4 qualification and advanced/higher apprenticeship; or Level 3 qualification, a nationally recognised engineering apprenticeship and some engineering experience within their discipline or specialism area.
