Job Overview

Our client is seeking a hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts across the Midlands region. You will predominantly servicing a range of commercial, healthcare and public sector premises, ensuring water systems remain compliant and functional. It would be beneficial for engineers to have good access to the M6 for more covenient travel across the region. Experience / Qualifications
  • Proven experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
  • Will have worked within a reputable Water Hygiene / Treatment / Legionella company
  • Working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG 274 and HTM 0401 compliance guidelines
  • It would be beneficial to hold plumbing experience and qualifications (such as: NVQ level 1/2/3 and / or G3 unvented)
  • Professional manner
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skill level
The Role
  • Attending client sites to undertake pre-planned ACOP L8 compliance tasks
  • Shower head descales
  • TMV servicing
  • Inspections, cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks
  • Sampling from closed systems
  • Flushing of little used outlets
  • Keeping accurate records of works undertaken
  • Updating logbooks
  • Working to set personal targets and deadlines
