We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching and Learning Practitioner to join our supportive team.
The RoleUnder the direction of a qualified teacher, you will:
- Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes
- Provide short-term cover supervision and PPA cover as required
- Support pupils’ academic progress, recording and reporting on attainment and development
- Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, EAL, and those who are gifted and talented
- Promote pupils’ social, emotional and pastoral well-being
- Assist with the development and implementation of individual support plans
- Support behaviour, inclusion and engagement in learning
- Contribute to displays, learning resources and classroom organisation
- Liaise effectively with staff, parents/carers and external agencies
You may also support pupils with additional needs, invigilate exams, and assist with personal care where required, always encouraging independence.
Qualifications and ExperienceExperience: A minimum of one-year experience working with children, preferably within an educational setting.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications for Teaching and Learning Practitioners - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent plus additional experience working as at HLTA standards.
