General Labourer

CSCS General Labourer – Stafford

O'Neill & Brennan is currently recruiting for a General Labourer to start work on a busy construction site in Stafford.

Working hours are from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday (this may change on site). Ongoing employment requires being a car driver with a driving licence due to the location.

All applicants MUST have a CSCS Card and a minimum of 1 year of labouring experience. Candidates must also be prepared to obtain a full BSPP Clearance and an Asbestos Awareness certificate. They should be able to communicate with the site manager to receive daily tasks, and provide work history/references covering at least 5 years.

• Assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites.
• Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision.
• Follow site safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Support skilled tradespeople as required, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Report any hazards or safety concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
• Be able to pass the BSPP Clearance.
• Must have Asbestos Awareness.

• Paid weekly every Friday.
• £50 voucher through the O'B Referral Scheme (ask for details).
• Long‑term work for the successful candidate.
• Further training and upskilling available.
