CSCS General Labourer – Stafford
O'Neill & Brennan is currently recruiting for a General Labourer to start work on a busy construction site in Stafford.
Working hours are from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday (this may change on site). Ongoing employment requires being a car driver with a driving licence due to the location.
All applicants MUST have a CSCS Card and a minimum of 1 year of labouring experience. Candidates must also be prepared to obtain a full BSPP Clearance and an Asbestos Awareness certificate. They should be able to communicate with the site manager to receive daily tasks, and provide work history/references covering at least 5 years.
General Labourer Duties- Assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites.
- Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision.
- Follow site safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople as required, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Report any hazards or safety concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
- Be able to pass the BSPP Clearance.
- Must have Asbestos Awareness.
- Paid weekly every Friday.
- £50 voucher through the O'B Referral Scheme (ask for details).
- Long‑term work for the successful candidate.
- Further training and upskilling available.
- CSCS Card.
- PPE (will be provided if required).
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
- Full DBS check and references required.
- Must be a Car Driver.
