Social Worker​/Senior Practitioner Children's

Staffordshire County Council is seeking experienced Social Workers, Senior Social Workers, and Advanced/Senior Practitioners to join the Assessment and Staying Together Team in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a stable, supportive service focused on strong frontline practice and keeping families together wherever possible.

This role is based at SP1 Stafford, with on-site parking available, and sits within a well-established team led by a Social Work Practice Lead.

The Team

• Assessment and Staying Together - Social Work Practice Lead

The Role

• Supporting the progression of Child in Need plans

• Working closely with and supporting Early Help Practitioners

• Completing Section 47 investigations

• Undertaking Initial Child Protection Conference (ICPC) reviews

• Completing Section 7 and Section 37 reports

• Delivering high-quality, child- and adolescent-focused assessments and interventions
