Job Opportunity:
Social Worker / Senior Practitioner (Children's)
Location: Staffordshire (County-wide)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay: Up to £24.38 per hour (umbrella)
About the Role:You will work across various teams in Staffordshire, so a broad understanding of children's social work services is essential. Teams requiring cover include:
- Integrated Front Door Service
- 4 x Duty Teams
- Children in Care Team
You will support complex children and families across the full spectrum of children's services, including assessments and court work as needed.
What You ll Be Doing:- Providing specialist support to children and families in complex situations
- Conducting assessments and preparing court reports where required
- Working collaboratively with multiple teams and partner agencies
- Responding to duty emergencies (preference for candidates local to Staffordshire)
- Contributing to practice development and supporting colleagues
- ASYE + at least 2 years' experience
- £28.55 per hour
- ASYE + at least 3 years' experience
- £30.57 per hour
- Caseload management plus supervisory or practice development duties
- £33.30 per hour
