Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Procurement Leader with a dotted line to the Global Supply Chain Cap Ex Leader this role coordinates capital expenditure (Cap Ex) procurement activities globally across all GSI regions and Project Delivery Groups (PDGs).

Essential Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end Cap Ex procurement execution from project start through full completion.
  • Serve as the central liaison for stakeholders across GSI regions and PDGs throughout the Cap Ex procurement cycle; partner closely with regional procurement teams to ensure effective order execution and monitoring.
  • Create place and manage purchase orders as needed; resolve issues and schedule changes promptly.
  • Maintain an accurate delivery forecast; collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to keep expected dates current; immediately address overdue commitments and proactively monitor upcoming deliveries.
  • Monitor deliveries and goods receipt notes (GRNs).
  • Own and maintain Cap Ex procurement trackers; ensure timely updates by team members; monitor actual spend versus budget; produce regular stakeholder reports.
  • Track and report Cap Ex procurement KPIs; drive actions to meet performance standards.
  • Continuously identify and implement process and tool improvements; ensure Cap Ex work instructions remain current and effective.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Advanced experience in buying / procurement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet and / or Excel including complex formulas and models.
  • Experience with data visualization and creating impactful presentations using PowerPoint.
