Assembler - 1st. Shift

Purpose

This position will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials needed
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies
• Fulfill assigned daily quota to assure assembly work orders are shipped on time
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Communicate with leads and/or supervisors of any discrepancies or assistance needed
• Promote and exercise safety by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies and procedures while in the plant
• Maintain cleanliness of area around assigned machine by picking up trash, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Occasionally train new operators on assigned machines, as needed

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
• Experience in working in production setting a plus, but not required (training provided)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for the entire shift
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be flexible and able to work extended shifts and/or weekends

• 1st. Shift - Monday - Friday, 6:45am - 3:15pm (May have to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)

• $9.00/hour
