Equipment Operator I

- Bring your understanding of water and wastewater rules to help keep our operations smooth and secure.
- 2 - 5 years proven experience operating heavy equipment in utility construction and repair-your expertise is valued here!
- High school diploma or GED - show us your foundation of learning.
- Valid Class "C" Driver License - get ready to hit the road.
- Bonus points for certifications:
Water Distribution Class "C" and Wastewater Collection II or III. - All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR check. Safety and trust are our priorities.
We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including:
- Retirement: 7% employee contribution to the Texas County & District Retirement System (TCDRS), with a generous 2:1 employer match and 8-year vesting.
- Paid Time Off: 11 paid holidays plus one personal day annually. Vacation accrual increases with tenure (10-20 days/year), along with 10 sick days per year.
