Job Description

We are seeking a Bilingual Immigration Associate Attorney (in Spanish and English) to join our Immigration EOIR Litigation and USCIS team. This role involves representing detained and non‑detained clients in removal proceedings, preparing immigration applications, and working closely with the managing attorney, paralegal, and legal assistants.

Prior immigration experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of immigration matters under the supervision of the Managing Attorney
  • Represent detained and non‑detained individuals before:
    • Immigration Court (EOIR)
    • USCIS
    • Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)
  • Prepare, review and file defensive and affirmative immigration applications, including:
    • I-589 (Asylum)
    • Cancellation of Removal (42A / 42B)
    • Adjustment of Status (I-485)
    • SIJS
    • Prosecutorial Discretion (PD) requests
  • Review and prepare USCIS filings such as:
    • I-130
    • I-601 / I-601A
    • U Visas
  • Draft legal briefs, motions, and supporting memoranda
  • Meet with clients to assess legal strategies and provide case analysis
  • Supervise and collaborate with paralegals to ensure excellent client service
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active Texas Bar License (Required)
  • Bilingual:
    Fluent in English and Spanish (Required)
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and move cases forward efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and strategize
Required
  • Experience with immigration law, family law, and humanitarian cases
  • Experience with EOIR proceedings, asylum, and detained cases
  • Passion for working with immigrant and vulnerable communities
