We’ve been exclusively engaged by a growing organization seeking an Assistant Controller to support their expanding accounting and finance operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial functions. The Assistant Controller will report directly to the Controller and serve as a key leader during month‑end close, financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and ongoing process improvements.
Salary: $140,000 - $155,000 per year.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead general ledger close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Support the development, documentation, and execution of strong internal controls.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate audits and manage communication with external auditors.
- Identify and drive process improvements across the accounting function.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Oversee compliance requirements, tax filings, and financial reporting deadlines.
- Support ERP and accounting systems implementation, enhancements, and optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA/CMA preferred.
- 2-4 years public company assistant controller or 4-6 years as assistant controller with a minimum of $250M in revenue; at least 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls background.
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 is a must‑have. Strong Excel needed.
- Will have SOX experience and have worked in a public company.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and leadership ability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
