We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plastics Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using micrometers, excellent vision, and the ability to work with small components. As a Plastics Assembler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the assembly of high-quality plastic components in a fast-paced and supportive work environment. Responsibilities

include but are not limited to:
  • Assemble and inspect small plastic components to meet quality standards.
  • Use micrometers and other precision measurement tools to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Perform detailed visual inspections to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Follow written instructions, blueprints, or work orders to complete assembly tasks.
  • Maintain detailed records of production activities and quality inspections.
  • Apply shop math skills to calculate measurements and dimensions as needed.
  • Work with small parts and ensure proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and 5S protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production progress and challenges.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the production team.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience using micrometers and other precision measurement tools is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent vision for working with small components.
  • Proficiency in shop math, including basic calculations and measurements.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Previous experience in plastics assembly or a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small parts.
  • Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
  • Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
