Production Operator - Fillets - 2nd Shift - Eligible

To support the growth and development of new hires, this position is eligible for a 90 Day Evaluation that includes a pay increase if key performance indicators are met.

• The Production Operator in the Fillets department assists in all operations of the department.

• Processing of flex/rigid boards and the application of strain relief epoxy to flex/rigid interfaces.

• Removes cocoons/caps as required per print on flex area.

• Attends meetings, communicates regularly with managers and supervisors, attends special training, maintains a clean, safe work environment and communicates safety hazards and issues to supervisors.

• Generates, accumulates and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager.

• Report all accidents, near misses and safety concerns in a timely manner. Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in safety training, following Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, MSDS and Safety Procedures and Alerts.

• Basic English and mathematical skills; ability to read, write, follow procedures.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Basic understanding and working knowledge of blueprints.

• Basic computer skills.

• Good hand-eye coordination, visual acuity, steady hands, good hearing, and clear speech.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-motivated.

• Ability to work with and around chemicals/solvents.

• Ability to work under a microscope and with small hand tools.

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Works up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week; ability to work weekends.

• Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.

• Regular attendance is an essential job function.

• High school diploma or GED is required.
