** Scope:
** Position is responsible for overseeing and managing the Quality Engineering department.
** Duties & Responsibilities**: (including but are not limited to)
* Supervise Quality Engineering team to ensure TTM is meeting internal and external customer expectations and requirements.
* Support RCCA activity, customer visits and audits as necessary.
* Help develop and drive quality and process improvements.
* Work closely with QA Manager to ensure deadlines are met and progress is being made on open projects/SCARs
* Ensure Quality Engineers are meeting daily objectives (i.e. Processing orders, AMCNs, dispositioning DMRs, 6S etc.)
* Interact with customers, suppliers, and other members of management team on quality issues
* Working knowledge of ISO
9001:2000 and AS9100A.  Active member of the QMS and EHS internal audit team.
* Aid in training Quality Engineers and others in department specific work procedures.
* Coordinate defect escape prevention activities with QC and Production Manager for all production and inspection departments, including Q-RAIL activity.

* Essential Knowledge and Skills:

*** Ability to pass eye exam with a minimum of 20/20 vision that may be corrected via eyeglasses or contact lenses as required.  Eye exam in required annually.
* Experience with, and a demonstrated understanding of Six Sigma is a plus.
* Proven analytical and problem solving skills, including statistical data analysis and interpretation, as well as the ability to develop, implement, and drive improvement plans and project teams to successful completion.
* Strong background in the use and understanding of key manufacturing performance metrics.
* Strong communication, planning, organizational and leadership skills.
* Good English skills and ability to read, write and communicate clearly.
