This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch team for our new Fredericksburg, VA site! You'll be based primarily in Fredericksburg as we scale operations. During the initial phase, which could be several months, travel to Stafford, Louisa, and Manassas may be required to support operational needs and training while the Fredericksburg sites ramp up to full capacity.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. • Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with participation in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.
• Perform in‑depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation.
• Travel to regional sites such as Stafford, Louisa, and Manassas may be required.

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
• US citizenship.

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.

The starting pay for this position is 27.00–48.00 USD hourly. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
