Registered Nurse RN

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring that the health and safety needs of all residents are met. This position is responsible for ensuring the facility complies with current regulations and standards of practice.

About Us: Ecumen Prairie Hill and Ecumen Sand Prairie are hiring a Registered Nurse RN in St Peter, MN for our Memory Care. Ecumen Sand Prairie consists of 42 assisted living rental apartment homes, and Ecumen Prairie Hill consists of 43 independent living and assisted living rental apartment homes, as well as 20 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services.

Schedule:Full-Time. Monday - Friday. 8a-4:30p. 72 hours scheduled every 2 weeks. On Call and Leader on Duty Rotation.

Pay: The targeted pay range for this job is $36.00 - $41.00 per hour

Essential

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments for new residents and implement service agreements at move-in.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records and care plans; ensure timely assessments and proper documentation.
• Ensure physician orders are signed and carried out within 24 hours.
• Oversee medication administration and medical equipment use; communicate with physicians as needed.
• Assist with training new staff on health and medication procedures and provide ongoing education; document all training for compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and must maintain licensure
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to:
  Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Previous experience working with seniors
