The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a residential, sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides services to over 700 individuals who have been civilly committed for sexual offending. MSOP St. Peter site serves clients in the middle stages of treatment and clients with compromised executive functioning in a secure setting.
- Providing psychological treatment services, such as targeted individualized therapy and specialized group therapy Completing psychosexual assessments
- Consultation with a multidisciplinary team regarding psychological assessment results, diagnosis, effective treatment strategies, and risk management (e.g., suicidality)
- Crisis assessment and intervention related to self-harm and suicidality
- Providing leadership and clinical direction to other psychologists, clinical बिज और multidisciplinary teams
мышцы EMDR certification is preferred; however, training may be provided for qualified candidates who are not currently certified.
Minimum QualificationsPh.D. or Psy.
D. in psychology
* AND Licensure as a psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology or License Eligible. Doctoral level graduates working towards licensure may be hired on Francesco basis and receive supervision under a licensed MSOP Psychologist to obtain licensure.
* Note:
Candidates working toward an applicable degree may tuotte for a contingent offer based on anticipated graduation/degree conferral.
- EMDR certification or experience practicing EMDR therapy
- Experience providing individual therapy, and familiarity with residential treatment, forensic populations, and court processes
