The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a residential, sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides services to over 700 individuals who have been civilly committed for sexual offending. MSOP is a national leader in the industry and is committed to providing services on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of clients.

MSOP St. Peter serves clients in the middle stages of treatment and clients with compromised executive functioning in a secure setting.
Community Preparation Services site (located in St. Peter) serves clients in the later stages of treatment, emphasizing deinstitutionalization and reintegration to the community in a less restrictive, unlocked setting.
Clinician primary responsibilities include:
- Providing group therapy and some individual counseling
- Preparing written documentation for internal and external audiences
- Creating treatment plans
- Delivering psycho‑educational curriculums
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- One year of professional experience providing clinical services, including group and individual therapy
