Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for managing existing customer accounts in Scotland while generating high‑quality new business in the food industry—particularly in Fresh Red Meat, Processed Meats, Dairy, Fish, and Ready Meal Packaging—under the Cryovac brand and delivering tailored Cryovac solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow customer relationships within existing accounts, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and identification of new opportunities.
  • Drive sales and business development: sell additional products and systems, identify target customers for new applications, and achieve agreed sales performance targets.
  • Deliver strategic value: develop strategic plans for key accounts, understand broader customer needs, and communicate insights across the Cryovac organization.
  • Coordinate internal resources: work with Cryovac teams to implement the Cryovac Total Offer and provide a full system approach.
  • Contribute to planning and reporting: provide regular site activity reports, complete monthly updates, and support budget and territory growth planning.
  • Represent Cryovac professionally: attend team meetings, present at customer events like Packforum, and negotiate with head office contacts alongside the Sales Manager.
Qualifications
  • Successful sales track record, ideally within the food industry.
  • Knowledge of packaging trends in Fresh Red Meat, Processed Meats, Dairy, Fish, and Ready Meals.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and planning capability.
  • Comfort working independently in a field‑based role.
  • Proficiency in reporting, budgeting, and cross‑functional coordination.
