PERM Practice NURSE Surgery £ BENS in Cambridgeshire

Dream Medical is currently working with a friendly GP surgery in St Neots that requires a practice nurse.

You will work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team where you will cover basic Practice Nurse duties such as Cervical Cytology, Venepuncture, Immunisations and Vaccinations, Travel Health, ECG, Diabetes and Asthma management, Blood pressure, ECG, Health Promotion, wound care, contraception, spirometry and cervical screening.

Requirements

• be a certified Registered Nurse
• have a current NMC registration
• have knowledge of patients with long term conditions
• be familiar with Patient Group Directions (PGD's) and associated policy
• be able to work autonomously
• prioritise, organise and manage own workload
• have a willingness to learn and develop
• be able to work collaboratively with the wider team
• Produce accurate, contemporaneous and complete records, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures
