Location: St. Neots

Job Role: Production Operative – (Full-time and Permanent)

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour PLUS a weekly shift premium of £100.62 for working 4/4 nights or £20 for working 4/4 days

Shift Pattern: Rotation of 4 on/4 off night shifts, working 18:00-06:00, or 4 on/4 off day shifts, working 06:00-18:00

There is an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking gain a long-term career within the packaging industry. Role/Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine Quality Inspection of finished product & raising any concerns immediately with their immediate supervisor
  • Keeping the factory in a clean and safe manner
  • Carrying out Line Clearance duties between each production run
  • Alert to any abnormal running conditions, (visual / audible) & reporting immediately to immediate supervisor/gluing minder or when advised ‘halting’ the production line
  • Support ‘Make Ready’ activities at the discretion of their Number 1 operative
  • Feeding +/or packing the finished product in a quality controlled manner & affixing appropriate product identification
  • Stripping – strip product as and when required
  • Maintaining high standards of 5S within all areas of the site
  • Maintaining Die changes when required
  • Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and all colleagues

You will help the team to achieve agreed targets, whilst working in a safe and clean environment.
