This position provides quick and efficient check out services to customers.

• Smile/Greet customers coming and leaving in a friendly manner.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate check out services for our customers using a computerized cash register system.
• Become familiar with store and basic knowledge of prices including weekly ad specials to answer questions from customers.
• Check pricing.
• Bags grocery items when needed.
• Keep registers clean and organized and assists with in-store cleaning.
• Assist with facing inventory.
• Assist in stocking small items around register.
• Return products back to proper shelf locations.
• Keeps registers stocked with bags, register tape and supplies as needed.
• Count money in cash drawer at beginning and end of work shift.
• Assists in collecting shopping carts and shopping baskets from the parking lot or around the front end of the store and returns to their proper location.
• All other duties as may be assigned.

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Cash handling experience.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledgeable in use of computers and basic math principals.
• Must be able to pass background investigation.
